New Delhi: The highly anticipated Telugu comedy-drama series, “Kumari Srimathi,” is all set to make its premiere on Prime Video on September 28. This announcement was made by the streaming platform on Monday, much to the delight of fans.
The series stars the talented Nithya Menen in the titular role of Srimathi and is comprised of seven episodes. Alongside Nithya Menen, the show boasts a remarkable ensemble cast, including Nirupam, Gautami, Thiruveer, Talluri Rameshwari, Naresh, and Murali Mohan.
Set against the backdrop of a village in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, “Kumari Srimathi” presents a hilarious take on the challenges faced by a 30-year-old woman, portrayed by Nithya Menen, as she confronts stereotypes prevailing in a small, tradition-bound town.
Produced by Early Monsoon Tales, the web division of Vyjanyanthi Entertainments, and directed by Gomtesh Upadhye, the series promises to be a unique viewing experience. It will exclusively premiere on Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide. Audiences can enjoy the show in Telugu, with dubbed versions available in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
