The plot follows a journalist who is under suspicion of murder and sets out to uncover the truth to get away from this predicament; it is based on the Naver web series of the same Korean name created by Nyureoki.

Storyline of the Drama

The Villain Hunter is a nickname given to KBM reporter Seo Jung Won. With her incisive reporting and her program “Nothing Uncovered,” which exposed public-facing criminals, Jung Won became a famous newscaster. Nevertheless, she finds herself entangled in a stunning occurrence that sends her down to the lowest level, forcing her to ally with Kim Tae Heon, her ex-lover.

As an investigator at the Gangha Police Station, Tae Heon is bound to do things his way. While looking into a case, he runs across Jung Won and is taken aback by the fact that they are back together.

Jung Won’s husband, the renowned mystery writer Seol Woo Jae, comes from an affluent family. His wounded heart has been hidden from everyone, even though he’s a hopeless romantic who would do everything for Jung Won. The trio is now entangled in a string of murders.
