Officer On Duty OTT release:  Malayalam thriller flick Officer on Duty was released in theaters on February 20th, 2025. Helmed by Jithu Ashraf, the film, starring Kunchacko Boban in the lead role, resonated well with the fans right from Day 1, receiving lauds for its intriguing storyline and power-packed acting performances.

As a result, it emerged as a bumper hit at the Box Office and amassed a whopping sum of Rs 50 crore from the ticket windows before concluding its run on the big screens.

Now, its makers have decided to roll out the film on the OTT, offering fans a chance to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes in multiple languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

When and where to watch Officer on Duty online on OTT? 

Officer on Duty will make its long-awaited digital debut on Netflix from March 20th, 2025. The same was announced by Netflix India South through a post shared on social media.

Taking to its official X (Previously Twitter) handle, the OTT gaint dropped an intriguing poster of the movie and wrote, “Puthiya officer etheetund, stand in line and salute. Watch Officer on Duty on Netflix, out 20 March in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada.”

It will now be interesting to see what kind of reception the Malayalam hit receives from the OTTians in the coming days.

Cast and Production

Featuring Kunchacko Boban as its main actor, Officer on Duty boasts a stellar cast that sees Kunchacko Boban, Priyamani, Jagadish, Vishak Nair, Aadukalam Naren, and Ramzan Muhammed. Martin Prakkat, in association with Renjith Nair and Siby Chavara, have backed the movie under the banner of Martin Prakkat Films.
