OMG 2: Akshay Kumar starrer first look out, announces the release date

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar has returned with details on his next film OMG 2. On Friday, the actor revealed a new poster of himself from the flick, as well as the release date. OMG 2 will be released in theatres on August 11, this year. The graphic, which Akshay Kumar released on Instagram only an hour ago, has since become viral. It depicts him in a never-before-seen outfit inspired by Lord Shiva.

In the comments section, most of Akshay’s admirers greeted the new poster with “Har Har Mahadev” screams. “Aap aaye aur ham na aaye…,” another fan remarked. Sir, you thodi na koi bat hai (You’re coming and we’re not – this cannot happen).” Someone else said, “Bhai log ye pakka blockbuster hogi” (This movie will undoubtedly be a blockbuster).

OMG 2 was announced by Akshay Kumar and the movie’s producers in October 2021. He’d posted two posters with the text, “Need your blessings and wishes for OMG 2, our honest and humble attempt to reflect on an important social issue.” May Adiyogi’s immortal spirit bless us on our path. Mahadev, Har Har.”

Amit Rai wrote and directed OMG 2. It is the follow-up to the 2012 film OMG – Oh My God, starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. The first chapter tells the narrative of Kanji Lalji Mehta (Paresh Rawal), who sues God for the loss of his shop during an earthquake. Mithun Chakraborty, Govind Namdev, and late actor Om Puri also appeared in the movie.
