Oscars Afterparty: Ram Charan celebrates ‘Naatu Naatu’ win with wife Upasana Konidela, Deepika Padukone glams in pink dress (See pics)

Ram Charan must be at top of the world after ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the Oscars for Best Original Song, while Deepika was the one who presented the song before its performance at the event.

New Delhi: After a successful Oscar stint, ‘RRR’ actor Ram Charan and Deepika Padukone went to the Vanity Fair Oscars Afterparty. Ram Charan must be at top of the world after ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the Oscars for Best Original Song, while Deepika was the one who presented the song before its performance at the event.

Ram Charan celebrated the win with his wife Upasana Konidela at the afterparty. The couple, who was wearing traditional to the 9th Academy Awards, changed to a bit casual for the afterparty. Ram Charan wore all black with a green jacket while Upasana wore a black dress. They were spotted posing together on the red carpet.

At the after-party, Ram Charan sent a message to India and he said that they are all proud that the fans gave such a good reception for the film. He thanked the audience and said that he is a proud Telugu person and a Telugu actor. The actor also thanked the Western audience and the Western media for their warm reception, which helped in the voting process at the Oscars.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone, who stole the show at the Oscars with her off-shoulder black gown, wore a pink fur dress. She also had her hair bun and her eye makeup added to the glam. Carrying herself with elegance, Deepika ruled the red carpet at the afterparty.

At the Oscars, ‘Naatu Naatu’ composer MM Keeravaani and lyricist Charndrabose accepted the award, while singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava performed the song at the event.
