This year has a plethora of new web series coming up for covering all the weekend hues curing up all the cliffhangers from last year’s shows. Here is the list of much-anticipated web series everyone must have on their to-be-watched list.
1. The Bad Batch Season 2
Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which is available on Disney+Hotstar from January 4, is a sci-fi sequence in which the first season was well-received by fans. Its plot centers around a group of clones who travel to a new universe as a matter of fact of the Clone War.
Ming-Na Wen, Michelle Ang, Liam O’Brien, and Dee Bradley Baker, among others, provided narration for the animated series.
2. Taaza Khabar
Taaza Khabar is a web show made by YouTuber Bhuvan Bam that will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on January 6. It’s about a trash collector who gets his one wish fulfilled.
He then gains special powers and utilizes them to completely transform his life. However, karma reappears and causes difficulties in his life.
3. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2
Season 1 of the web series Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein has already received appreciation from the audience. Hence, for the fans who have been waiting for the sequel season, it is will be premiered this year. The star cast for this show is Shweta Tripathi, Arunoday Singh, and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
4. Guns and Gulaabs
Guns and Gulaabs is a forthcoming Hindi crime series that will premiere in February 2023. Rajkummar Rao, Adarsh Gourav, Dulquer Salmaan, and Gulshan Devaiah star in it. It is believed to have been inspired by the 1990s crime thriller Misfits of the World.
The new show will be available on Netflix. It will also contain elements of love and dry wit. This multi-starrer series will be entertaining to watch.
5. Mirzapur Season 3
Season 3 of the most-awaited web series Mirzapur will be the concluding season of the show. It will be premiered in Amazon Prime video soon this year. On the other hand, according to the team and the cast, this season will be more engaging than the previous ones.
6. Panchayat Season 3
Panchayat is among Amazon Prime Video’s most popular web series. Neena Gupta recently earned a Filmfare award for Best Supporting Actor for Season 2. The sequence would continue the story, which is set in a small village in Uttar Pradesh.
