In the film, actor Taapsee Pannu played the role of India’s former cricket captain Mithali Raj. Directed by Srijit Mukherjee, the film stars Vijay Raaz, Asad Ali Palijo, Tahir Anand, Brijendra Kala and Shilpi Marwaha. The film will stream on Viacom 18’s OTT platform Voot. The show is based on the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl, inspired by Mindy Kaling's own childhood.
