New Delhi: Continuing the OTT summer trend in July, the first day of the month has a lot of shows in store. June offered exciting content for binge-watchers, but July will be no less when it comes to web series on OTT platforms. From action to animation, every genre is available in the upcoming movies and web series.

Take a look at OTT content that will release on July 1:

1. Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny (Season 2)

Kids’ favourite Kung Fu Panda, Po, is back with season 2 of the animated show where he teaches kung fu to kids from Panda Village. Do not miss their adventures and Po’s unique teaching techniques.

The animated series is available on Amazon Prime Video.

2. Rebelde (Season 2)

Rebelde follows the lives of a group of young students at the Elite Way School, an elite Mexican college. The new season of the Mexican drama focuses on a secret society called the Lodge that threatens to crash the musical hopes of the first years. The show is a remake of the 2004 series by the same name.

Season 2 of the web series will stream on Netflix.

3. Stranger Things (Season 4, Volume 2)

The story continues as a group of teens is fighting an alien creature they call Vecna. Stranger Things is a successful mystery-thriller and with ghosts of the past coming to haunt the heroes, the finale is going to be much more exciting.

The show features Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, David Harbour and others. Volume 2 of season 4 will stream on Netflix.

4. Samrat Prithviraj

After a successful run at the box office, the Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithviraj will release on OTT on July 1. The film follows the life of a fearless warrior who fought numerous battles against the invaders. Alongside Akshay Kumar, the film also features Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar making her Bollywood debut.

Directed by Chandra Parkash Dwivedi, the film will release on Amazon Prime Video.

5. Shut Up Sona

Shut Up Sona is a documentary following the National award-winning singer Sona Mahapatra and her unrelenting fight for equal space in modern-day India. The film is set to release on Zee5.
