New Delhi: A lot has been waiting to be unveiled in the last week of May on the OTT platforms. The most-anticipated shows, series, and movies will be released this week and it’s becoming hard for us to wait any longer. If you still do not have the list of the upcoming OTT releases, take a look below:
1. Attack – Zee 5
John Abraham’s action thriller, Attack will be released on Zee 5 on May 27. The movie is written and directed by Lakshya Raj Anand and is based on a true story of a hostage crisis. John Abraham portrays the role of a lone ranger who leads an attack team during a counteroperation. The movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles.
2. KGF: Chapter 2 – Amazon Prime
One of the much-anticipated movies, KGF: Chapter 2 will be streaming on Amazon Prime on May 27. The movie was a blockbuster at the box office and made a theatrical release in April. This is the sequel of KGF: Chapter 1. Along with Yash, the movie also features Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Anant Nag among others. The movie will be streaming from May 27.
3. Stranger Things season 4 – Netflix
Fans have been waiting eagerly for Stranger Things season 4 part 1 to be released on May 27. The series will follow the lives of the characters in multiple locations in California and Russia as well as Hawkins. The series is science fiction where a young group of friends witnesses supernatural things and secret government exploits. The series features Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, and others. It will be streaming from May 27.
4. Emergency – Amazon Prime
Directed by Carey Williams, the satire thriller is all set to release on May 27. It is the same name adaptation of Williams and Davila’s 2018 short film. Emergency premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.
5. Heropanti 2: Amazon Prime
The film made a theatrical release in April 2022. Helmed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is a sequel to the 2014 actioner starring Tiger Shroff in the lead role. The movie also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tara Sutaria. The movie will make an OTT release on May 27.
