New Delhi: As one gets to say bid adieu to Year 2023, the last month of the year is packed with series of movie releases, both in theatres and OTT platforms.
Here, we bring an account of big movies releasing in theatres and web series on OTT platforms, in first week of December.
1) The Archies: December 7 (Theatres)
It is one of the most awaited releases of the year. The Archies teaser & trailers, with star kids in lead, aroused the interest of cinema lovers much back and now with the movie getting ready for theatrical release, the excitement is many notches higher.
The film, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is a movie about group of friends, trying to save a park in Riverdale. The film has an ensemble cast of many starkids including Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor.
2) HI NANNA – December 8 (Theatres)
Hi Nanna is a Telugu film is about the story of a doting father and his six-year-old daughter and how their life takes a turn on encountering a difficult situation. It stars actors like Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi in the lead roles. The romantic drama is set to make its way to the theatres, this week.
3) Koose Munisamy Veerappan
Veerappan, the name alone is enough to curiosity. A web series on the life of infamous bandit Koose Munisamy Veerappan has already left the cine fans curious & inquisitive. The movie gives a glimpse into the life and modus operandi of bandit Veerappan and he evaded the cops for so many years.
4) Kadak Singh (ZEE 5)
The movie starring Pankaj Tripathi is unconventional and so is the storyline. The film also stars Parvathy and Sanjana Sanghi in lead roles and is a thriller drama. It is the story of a Department of Financial crimes officer suffering with retrograde amnesia. The actor at many points of film can be seen figuring our his life with someone else, facing similar life scenarios.
5) Chamak – SONYLIV
Chamak, a musical thriller, is the story of an emerging artist who has a mission on his hand – to locate the killers of Punjab’s legendary singer. It has Siddharth Shaw, Gippy Grewal, and Suvinder Vicky in the lead roles.
