New Delhi: Actor Sonu Sood has evaded taxes of over Rupees 20 crore, the income tax department said on Saturday after searches at actor’s premises.
The Central Board of Direct Taxes said that during the course of search at the premises of the actor &his associates, incriminating evidence pertaining to tax evasion was found.
The main modus operandi followed by the actor had been to route his unaccounted income in form of bogus unsecured loans from many bogus entities

I-T Dept conducted a search & seizure op at various premises of a prominent actor in Mumbai & also a Lucknow-based group of industries engaged in infrastructure development. 28 premises in Mumbai, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur, Delhi, Gurugram covered, said Central Board of Direct Taxes.
