Paatal Lok Season 2 OTT Release Date: The much-awaited second season of Jaideep Ahlawat’s crime thriller Paatal Lok is soon coming to grace the digital screens.

Following the success of its 2020 release first season, the Avinash Arun and Prosit Roy directorial series will land on Amazon Prime Video in January 2025, allowing fans to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes.

When and where to watch Paatal Lok Season 2 online? 

From January 17th, 2024, Paatal Lok will start streaming online on Amazon Prime Video and viewers will get to watch it with a basic Prime membership.

Informing about the same, the OTT giant, on December 23rd, 2024, took to its social media handle and shared an intriguing poster of the web series. It wrote, “Gates open this new year #PaatalLokOnPrime, New season, Jan 17.” The series explores themes of corruption, crime, politics, and freedom of speech in Indian society.” It will now be interesting to see how the show fares with the OTTians in the days to come.

Plot of the Series

Paatal Lok tells the tale of Hathiram, a police officer who is working on a high-profile case related to the attempted assassination of an influential figure by 4 suspects. How Hathiram proceeds with the investigation of the case, only to find himself trapped in a web of crime is what the web series is all about.

In its star cast, Paatal Lok Season 2 will see renowned stars like Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishwak Singh, Gul Panag, Tillotama Shome, Nagesh Kukunoor, Jahnu Barua, Anindita Bose, Niharika Dutt and Swastika Mukherjee in key roles. Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Ssharma have produced the cop-drama under the banner of Clean Slate Filmz.
