Painkili OTT Release: On Valentine’s Day 2025, Sajin Gopu treated his fans with a promising romantic comedy titled Painkili. Helmed by Sreejith Babu, the movie stars Anaswara Rajan as the leading lady and was released on the big screens on February 14th, 2025. Unfortunately for its makers, the Malayalam entertainer failed to resonate with the cinegoers in the big screens & received a lukewarm reception from both the fans as well as critics. As a result, it concluded its Box office run with disappointing collections and now is all set to try its luck on OTT instead.

When and where to watch Painkili on the big screens? 

After failing to resonate with the fans during its theatrical run, Painkli will now try to change its fate by making its digital debut on a renowned streaming platform in the coming days. It will soon land on Manorama Max, which earlier officially confirmed the same by sharing a post about the same on social media.

Taking to its Instagram handle on March 13th, 2025, Manorama Max dropped an intriguing poster of the film, announcing that it is coming soon on the platform. Alongside the poster, the streamer also wrote a caption in Malayalam reading, “Painkili, starring Sajin Gopu, Anaswara Rajan, Jisma Vimal, Roshan Shanavas, and Chandu Salimkumar, is coming soon on Manorama Max!

Cast and Production

The star cast of Painkili sees Sajin Gopu, Anaswara Rajan, Jisma Vimal, Roshan Shanavas, Abu Salim, Chandu Salimkumar, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Riyaz Khan, and Aswathy B essaying main roles. Veteran actor Fahadh Faasil has backed the film in association with Jithu Madhavan under the banners of Urban Animal and Fahadh Faasil and Friends.
