New Delhi: Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan finally broke his silence on the rumors of her pregnancy that have been doing rounds on the internet for the last few days.
The rumors, ignited by a Reddit user’s post, claimed that Mahira is set to become a mother for the second time as she is due to deliver her baby in the latter half of 2024. Additionally, the viral post even suggested that the actress has also disengaged herself from her upcoming Netflix project Jo bachey Sang Samet lo for her gestational period.
However, clearing the air, the year-old actress, in a conversation with Tribune Express made it clear that neither is she pregnant nor has she bailed on her Netflix series due to the same. She said, “My pregnancy rumors are not True and I haven’t withdrawn from the Netflix series.”

For the unversed, Mahira Khan tied the knot with acclaimed Pakistani businessman Salim Karim in a dreamy wedding ceremony held in October 2023. Following their marriage, the couple also delighted their fans by sharing several snippets from their Big day on Social Media.
Before Salim, the actress was married to ace Pakistani actor Ali Askari with whom she exchanged the wedding vows back in 2007. During her time with Ali (2007-2015), the Humsafar fame also became a mother for the first time when her Son Azlan (14) was born in their wedlock in 2009.

Mahira Khan, which is one of the most popular names in the Pakistani entertainment industry, stepped into the Bollywood film industry in 2016 with Rahul Dholakia’s actioner Raees. In the movie, the actress shared the screen with Megastar Shah Rukh Khan & brilliantly portrayed the role of his leading lady.
However, despite receiving fans’ appreciation for her captivating performance in the SRK starrer movie, the actress was never featured in any other Bollywood flick as the infamous URI terrorist Attack of 2016 led to a complete ban on Pakistani artists in India. However, the ban was later lifted by the Bombay High Court in 2023, reigniting the fans’ hope to see their favorite Pak artists working in the country’s film industry once again.
