Panchayat Season 3 OTT Release Date: Jitendra Kumar starrer comedy-drama series is back with another exciting season

New Delhi: Fans of Prime Video’s comedy-drama Panchayat, which features Jitendra Kumar, are already counting down the days till the third season premieres.

Following the debut of Season 1, Panchayat skyrocketed in popularity, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after online series. In 2020, the first season of the series was released, and in May 2022, the second season became available to watch. On May 28, Prime Video will launch the third season of Panchayat for streaming.

The plot of director Deepak Kumar Mishra and writer Chandan Kumar’s Panchayat revolves around Abhishek Tripathi, a recent engineering graduate who finds work as a secretary in the panchayat office in the Uttar Pradesh hamlet of Phulera.

Plot

Throughout the first season, viewers followed Abhishek Tripathi as he adjusted to a new life in a rural setting. He was also observed getting ready to take the CAT test with the hopes of improving his employment chances and leaving the area.

Now that he was more settled into village life, he warmed up to it in season 2 and began to become involved in local politics and progress. A love forming between Abhishek and Rinki was also revealed to us. The revelation that Manju Devi and Rinki got a transfer order for Abhishek was the shocking cliffhanger that concluded Season 2.

Season 3 of Panchayat begins with the introduction of a new secretary and the cancellation of Abhishek’s transfer order, according to the trailer. There will be more than usual excitement, laughter, and misfortune during his historic stay in the neighbourhood. The trailer also teases that Rinki and Abhishek Tripathi will get close, which might lead to chemistry between the two leads.

Cast

Many actors and actresses from earlier seasons will return for more roles in the upcoming third season. Returning as Abhishek Tripathi, Jitendra Kumar is ready to take on a new journey.

Among the many actors and actresses featured in the series are Neena Gupta (Manju Devi), Sanvikaa (Rinki), Chandan Roy (Vikas), Raghubir Yadav (Brij Bhushan Dubey), Faisal Malik (Prahlad), Biswapati Sarkar (Prateek), and Sunita Rajwar (Kranti Devi).

Deepak Kumar Mishra helms the series Panchayat, which was scripted by Chandan Kumar. As part of The Viral Fever, Sameer Saxena produced the show and Anurag Saikia wrote the score. Amitabha Singh shot the series, while Amit Kulkarni did the editing.
