New Delhi: Actor Paul Rudd, popular for playing the character of Ant-Man, took a stand to help a 12-year-old boy who got bullied at school. The news of Broddy Ridder getting bullied at middle school went viral in the month of May when his mother toon on social media to express her angst.

At the school, nobody, except for two students and two teachers, was ready to sign Broddy’s yearbook. When his classmates refused to sign the yearbook, some senior students stepped up to help him. Broddy’s mother Cassandra shared the picture of his yearbook and wrote, “My poor son. Doesn’t seem like it’s getting any better. 2 teachers and a total of 2 students wrote in his yearbook. Despite Brody asking all kinds of kids to sign it. So Brody took it upon himself to write to himself. My heart is shattered. Teach your kids kindness.”

Getting to know about the incident, Paul Rudd stepped up and had a FaceTime call with the 12-year-old. The actor also gifted him a signed Ant-Man helmet and a letter in which he wrote that Broddy is the coolest kid and many people, including Paul himself, love him. The Marvel star also asked Broddy to stay stronger in such situations.
