Payal Rohatgi ties knot with Sangram Singh in celebrity-style royal wedding (SEE PICTURES)

The couple took their wedding vows and finally married on Saturday, July 9.

New Delhi: Popular television star, Payal Rohatgi, tied the knot with wrestler Sangram Singh on July 9. The couple’s love story began during the reality show ‘Survivor India- The Ultimate Battle’ which went on air in 2012. After dating for a long time, they decided to marry each other.

Payal Rohatgi, who was last seen in Lock Upp, and Sangram’s wedding ceremonies kickstarted with the Mehendi ceremony. Payal wore a dark green colour lehenga choli to pair it with the colour of henna, while the then-to-be-husband Sangram dazzled in a royal-blue outfit. The actor also shared pictures of the ceremony on her Instagram handle.

The couple had a Haldi ceremony together. For Haldi also, Payal chose the matching coloured clothes. She wore a shiny yellow-coloured lehenga with a sequinned choli. She uplifted her look with a sheer dupatta and yellow and red floral jewellery.

Instagram handle by the name ‘bollywoodshaadis’ shared the couple’s Haldi video.

Payal also shared glimpses from their Sangeet night. She owned a pretty look in a pastel pink-coloured silk lehenga. She added up the smokey eyes, nude makeup and a sleek ponytail to complete her look. On the other hand, Sangram wore a black kurta and embroidered jacket paired with a white pyjama. While sharing the video clips from the Sangeet, Payal added the song ‘Tera Woh Pyar’ sung by Asim Azhar and Momina Mustehsan.

The couple took their wedding vows and finally married on Saturday, July 9. At the wedding ceremony, the actor wore a red bridal lehenga while her partner wore a cream-while-coloured sherwani. All of their ceremonies took place at Jaypee Palace Hotel and Convention Centre, Agra.

While sharing the pictures from their wedding, Sangram Singh wrote, “पाyal ke Sangराम” (this translates to Payal’s Sangram).
