Penelope Season 1 OTT Release: The Streaming Platform Netflix is coming up with some exciting content for its viewers in the month of September. A coming-of-story series ‘Penelope’ is arriving on Netflix on 24th September.
About Penelope Season 1
The story of the series moves around the life of a teenage girl who feels alienated from the modern world and feels connected towards nature, wild life and leaves her home to fulfill her dream.
The first episode will premiere from September 24th in Netflix. The unusual storyline of the series makes it worth-watching. The character of the teenage girl is played by Megan Stott.
The trailer of the series begins with a teenage girl dancing putting her headphones on in a party where everyone else is enjoying and dancing. While everyone in the party is engrossed into each other
The Teenage girl spots a wolf outside in the woods. Suddenly the girl is seen sitting in a train and texting her mother about her leaving home. She is seen telling her mom, Hey Mom, i am sorry for leaving like that.
Meanwhile she is then seen carrying a bag pack and running in the railway platform after the train. She boards the train and enjoys watching outside the birds, tress and the forest.
However, soon the girl reaches the Cascade National park and she feels delighted to see the big trees and greenery all over. She also turs off her location so that noone could reach her.
In the trailer she is also seen preparing a tent for her so that she can sleep in the night, and arranging fire from the woods. Soon her friends also join her in the woods and enjoy with her.
The series stars Megan Stott and Austin Abrams and is directed by Mark Duplass. He came up with the idea of the series during Pandemic.
