Perusu OTT Release: Vaibhav and Sunil Reddy’s starrer comedy drama Perusu premiered on the big screens on March 14th, 2025. Written and directed by Ilango Ram and Balaji Jayaraman, the movie, based on lIlango’s Sinhala black comedy Tentigo, received a sort of mixed reception from the cinemagoers who hailed the film’s humorous tone but weren’t really satisfied with its slow-paced story. To sum up, the Tamil entertainer’s performance in the theaters has so far been average and all set for streaming online on OTT.

Those who missed the opportunity to watch Perusu on the big screens during the film’s theatrical run will soon get to enjoy the flick online right from the comfort of their homes.
Netflix, which has emerged as the official digital partner of the movie will make it available for streaming on its platform as a confirmation about the same has already been shared by the OTT gaint on social media earlier this year.
Taking to its X (Previously Twitter) on January 15th, 2025, the streamer dropped an intriguing poster of the film & wrote, “This family puts the ‘fun’ in ‘funeral’ Perusu is coming to Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada after its theatrical release!

Cast and Production
In addition to Vaibhav and Sunil, Perusu features several skilled stars including Niharika NM, Chandini Tamilarasan, Munishkanth, and Bala Saravanan in its main cast.
Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, in association with Harman Baweja and Hiranya Perera have bankrolled the movie under the banner of Stone Bench Films, Baweja Studios and Emberlight Studio.
