New Delhi: A picture of actress Pranitha Subhash is going viral on social media, but for all the wrong reasons. The image has not just drawn sharp criticism from netizens but has also initiated a public discourse on the microblogging site Twitter.
Social Media users have called out the actress terming the image patriarchal, misogynistic, post marriage subservience, and much more.
In the pic in question here, Kannada actor Pranitha Subhash can be seen sitting on the floor at the feet of her husband Nitin Raju, who is seen sitting on a chair with a thali of pooja kept next to him on the ground.
Subhash had shared the pic on her Twitter handle with the caption, “Bheemana Amavasya“.
