Pill OTT Release Date: Here’s where Riteish Deshmukh’s medical drama will make its digital debut

New Delhi: Renowned Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh is all set to grace the OTT screens with his much-awaited upcoming medical drama titled ‘Pill.’

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the web series will see Deshmukh playing the lead character with Pavan Malhotra & Akshat Chauhan essaying other pivotal roles.

The show will arrive at Jio Cinema from July 12 onwards, allowing the viewers to watch it comfortably from their homes.

Pill OTT Release Date

The makers of Pill recently announced that the series will premiere on 12 July on Jio Cinema Premium. Meanwhile, the OTT platform also confirmed the same by sharing a post on its social media handle on June 27, 2024.

In the post, Jio Cinema, taking to its Instagram handle, dropped the intriguing trailer of the series & wrote, “Profits over Patients? Pill, streaming from 12 July onwards, exclusively on JioCinema Premium.”

Pill Plot

Created by Raj Kumar Gupta, Parveez Shaikh and Mahim Joshie, Pill circles the life of a man named Prakash (Deshmukh) who is deployed to the respectable post of Deputy Medicine Controller of the Medicine Authority of India.

The series beautifully depicts how Prakash single-handedly decides to fight a battle with a huge pharmaceutical company after several trials conducted by it claim the lives of many innocent people.
