New Delhi: After back-to-back delays in its digital release, Vikas Muppala’s Telugu crime-drama Plot is finally arriving on OTT this summer.
Helmed by ace director Bhanu Bhgavya Tharaka, the film, according to reports, will land on ETV Win which has already bagged its digital streaming rights.
While an official confirmation regarding the entertainer’s exact release date on ETV is still awaited, sources suggest that it will premiere on the platform by this Friday 17 May 2024.
About Plot
Boasting Gayatri Gupta and Vikas in pivotal roles, Plot hit the big screens amid massive expectations on November 3rd, 2024.
However, despite all the fan frenzy, the Telugu flick received a lukewarm reception from the buffs & ended its Box Office run with underwhelming collections.
Nevertheless, with the movie’s digital debut date knocking right at the door, it will be interesting to see what kind of reception it gets from the OTTians.
Story of Plot
An unsuccessful businessman Rahul, accompanied by a drug dealer Deepu, gets underground in Yemmiganur to hide from Sameer, a man whose brother was murdered by Deepu back in Hyderabad.
However, their fate changes overnight when Rahul, in a bid to arrange money for leaving the country with Deepu, puts up his house for sale & ends up cracking the twisted real estate business in the process.
This not only boosts his business but also makes him and Deepu rich within no time. Later, when Sameer finally locates the duo and approaches them to seek revenge for his brother’s murder, they kill him and hide his body beneath a land they are about to sell.
Meanwhile, just when everything looks right for Rahul, a mysterious man starts to threaten him against continuing his business. Who is this stranger? Why does he want to shut down Rahul’s business? Watch Plot and find out the answers.
Cast and Production
In its lead cast, Plot features Vikas Muppala and Gayathri Gupta as the leading pair. Besides these two, the film also sees Sajiv Pasala, Kishore, and Nandivada Santhosh in other supporting roles.
It is produced by Karthik Sepuru, Bhanu Bhava Tharaka, and Tharun Vighneswar Sepuru under the banner of BBT Films.
