New Delhi: Much speculated period drama Ponniyin Selvan has already nabbed the Rs 400 crore target at the box office and is successfully moving towards joining the elite Rs 500 crore club. As per film analyst Ramesh Bala, Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus has earned over Rs 400 crore on the global front. The film has become the third Indian film to do so after Rajinikanth’s 2.0 and Kamal Haasan’s Vikram.
Further, the second part of PS 1 is likely to grace the theatres in April next month, with makers recently revealing it already being on the floors and nearly 60 per cent of its shoot being shot.
