Pradhan OTT Release Date: Pradhan, the longest-running Bengali movie of last year, is all geared up to make its digital debut this monsoon season.

Helmed under the skillful direction of filmmaker Avijit Sen, the social-political drama, starring Dev and Soham Chakrobaty, enjoyed a dreamy run on the big screens during its theatrical run. By the time the film concluded its BO journey, it collected an impressive sum of Rs 6.40 crores (Approx) from the ticket windows, becoming the second most successful Bengali movie of 2024.

Meanwhile, following Pradhan’s Box Office success, its makers are now ready to roll out the actioner on OTT screens and witness how it fares with the digital audience.

All About Pradhan’s OTT Premiere

On August 1st, 2024, Hoichoi took to its social media handle to officially announce that Pradhan will arrive on the streaming platform on August 9, 2024.

Sharing a poster of the Avijet Sen directorial on Instagram, Hoichoi wrote,” Announcement | Film directed by avijitsen416, premieres worldwide on 9th August exclusively on hoichoi.’

Deepak Pradhan, a dedicated cop is transferred to a small village called Dharampur. There he sees rampant corruption and witnesses the tyrannical practices of the local panchayat leader.

How he, with the help of another fellow policeman Bibek learns more about the root causes of the village’s miserable condition and courageously fights against the wrongdoers to restore law, order & justice is the film’s remaining story.

Cast and Production

Pradhan, in its star cast, sees several talented actors like Dev, Sabitri Chatterjee, Soham Chakraborty, Paran Bandyopadhyay, Anirban Chakrabarti, Mamata Shankar and Soumitrisha Kundu in pivotal roles.

Dev, in association with Atanu Raychaudhuri and Pranab Kumar Guha, has produced the movie under the banner of Bengal Talkies and Dev Entertainment Ventures.
