Pravinkoodu Shappu OTT Release Date: Soubin Shahir and Basil Joseph recently shared the frame in a Malayalam comedy movie titled Pravinkoodu Shappu.
Helmed and written by acclaimed director Sreeraj Sreenivasan, the film graced the big screen on January 16th, 2025, and received a lukewarm reception from the cinemagoers.
Despite enjoying a decent pre-release buzz, the flick failed to pull crowds to the theaters, mainly because of its imperfect execution and flawed dark humor.
Eventually, the comedy crime drama, prepared on a decent Rs 18 crores budget, concluded its Box Office run on a forgettable note, raking in a disappointing sum of Rs 5.36 crores from the ticket windows. Now, the film is also set to try its luck with the OTTians this month.

Anyone who missed the chance to watch Pravinkoodu Shappu on the big screens during its theatrical run will soon get to enjoy it right from the comfort of their home.
On April 11, 2025, the Malayalam entertainer will make its long-awaited OTT premiere on SonyLiv, which is the official digital partner of the movie.
Announcing the same, the OTT gaint recently shared a post on X (Previously Twitter) and wrote, “4 days until you meet characters that will mesmerize you and a shappu that will confuse you! Watch #PravinkooduShappu On SonyLIV from 11 April.”
