All thanks to the positive reviews & love and appreciation of the fans, Premalu, by the conclusion of its theatrical run, not only emerged as a massive success at the Box office but also marked its name as the 4th highest Malayalam grosser of all time.

On 12 April 2024, the movie will become accessible on Disney + Hotstar, allowing viewers to enjoy it in various languages including Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. Additionally, the romantic comedy’s Telugu dubbed version will also grace the digital screen on the same day by arriving on the OTT platform Aha Video.
What Premalu is About?
Premalu is a heartfelt romantic drama that circles the life of Sachin Santosh who faces a major setback in life after his crush Anjali rejects his proposal on the last day of college. Later, when he tries to go to London to run away from his past & begin a new life there, he faces another blow, and his visa application gets dismissed by the authorities.
Disheartened by the recent occurrences, Sachin then starts living an aimless life until his friend Amal steps forward & convinces him to tag along with him to GATE coaching in the city of Hyderabad.
During the coaching days, Sachin crosses paths with a beautiful young girl Reenu Roy & the two strike a bond of friendship with one another within no time.
However, just like Anjali, Reenu also rejects Sachin’s love and tells him that she is seeking a mature partner who is stable in his life. This leaves Sachin heartbroken as he comes back to Chennai and tries his best to forget Reenu & her memories.
Meanwhile, in Hyderabad, Reenu realizes that she also loves Sachin and makes several attempts to contact him once again. Will she succeed in reclaiming Sachin’s love? Or it is too late for her as he has moved on? Premalu answers all such questions.
