New Delhi: Based on Priscilla Presley and Sandra Harmon’s 1985 biography Elvis and Me, the American biographical drama film Priscilla was written, directed, and produced by Sofia Coppola. The show chronicles Priscilla’s life and the tumultuous romance she had with Elvis Presley.
Mubi will provide streaming access to the picture, which premieres in theatres in November and stars Cailey Spaeny and Jacob Elordi. The movie can now be seen in Ireland and India thanks to this streaming deal.
After making its world debut in September 2023 at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, A24 distributed Priscilla to selected theatres in October 2023 in the US. It earned $31 million and was well-received by reviewers.

Plot
The official Priscilla summary states that the film traces the transformation of Elvis Presley from a meteoric rock and roll sensation to an unexpected closest friend, an ally in lonely times, and a thrilling infatuation with youthful Priscilla Beaulieu during a party.
From a German army post to his dream-world estate at Graceland, Sofia Coppola paints a profoundly felt and ravishingly detailed portrayal of love, imagination, and celebrity through Priscilla’s eyes, revealing the hidden side of a great American myth in Elvis and Priscilla’s lengthy relationship and tragic marriage.
In contrast to 2022’s Elvis, which dove headfirst into the life of the legendary singer-songwriter—including his meteoric rise to stardom, his struggles with substance abuse, and his relationships with other women—this film examines the grooming of a 14-year-old girl into a relationship with the wildly womanising musician. The film delves into Priscilla’s journey of accepting Elvis’s unpredictable behaviour and is adapted from her biography, Elvis and Me.
