New Delhi: Actor Priyamani has revealed how the team of Jawan shot for the film’s massive hit ‘Zinda Banda’ song, where superstar Shah Rukh Khan ensured she was next to him while dancing. The duo had previously worked in Chennai Express for a chartbuster dance number, One Two Three Four Get On The Dance Floor.” In an interview with Connect FM Canada, Priyamani said when the actors were rehearsing for the first set of choreography that was given to them, she was placed behind Shah Rukh Khan. When the superstar arrived, he looked for Priyamani and noticed that she was behind.
Priyamani said Shah Rukh Khan told the choreographer Shobi Master and director Atlee that she should be next to him as she has been his dance teacher since Chennai Express and in case he forgets the steps he will follow her moves.
He said, What are you doing behind me? Priyamani replied I don’t know sir. They have placed me behind you. This is what they said. He said no took her hand, caught her shoulder, and made her stand next to him. He told Shobi Master and Atlee sir that he want her girl to stand next to him, I don’t care about the Choreography, she has been my dance teacher since Chennai Express. Im going to look at her only and we are going to do so.
He used to ask every step me, Tell me how you do and I used to tell him the way, she added. In the song, Sanya Malhotra is on his right and she is on the left.
