New Delhi: Gadar 2 is making headlines these days due to its record-breaking success at the domestic box office. The film is directed by filmmaker Anil Sharma and moving towards the 400crore club. Many fans and celebrities praised the film and recently a special congratulatory note was received by director Anil Sharma. Filmmaker Anil Sharma flaunted a handwritten note from Priyanka and Nick wishing him the success of Gadar 2.
Taking to his Twitter handle Anil Sharma posted a picture of a handwritten note and a flower bouquet from the actor. The note reads, ‘Dear Anil sir, congratulations on the success of Gadar 2, Lots of love for the future venture, Much love from Priyanka and Nick.

Priyanka made her Bollywood debut with The Hero: Love Story of a Spy which was directed by Anil Sharma. The film got released in 2003 and was bankrolled by Times Magnetics. It has another star cast as well including Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta. Priyanka earlier also talked about Anil Sharma on The Howard Stern Show. She recalled the time after her nose surgery, she said I was supposed to do lead but was shifted to supporting character. That filmmaker was very kind, when everything was against me he said, it may be a small part but do your best and she did.

Gadar 2 is a sequel to the 2001 hit film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, directed by Anil Sharma . The film features Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead roleand the story was set during the time of partition. Sunny Deol has played the role of Tara Singh who croses border in order to rescue his son stuck in Pakistan.
