New Delhi: Despite being a global star for her international films and business ventures, Priyanka Chopra will always be our desi girl. Once again, this has been proved by Priyanka’s Diwali celebration over the weekend. Apart from organising a grand Diwali party at her home in Los Angeles, she has also been attending celebrations hosted by her close celebrity friends including Mindy Kaling and YouTuber Lilly Singh.
Priyanka Chopra has taken to Instagram to post pictures from the Diwali bash hosted by Lilly Singh and all her fans are having a meltdown over the desi-ness of the Quantico actress. Before this, she also posted pictured from Mindy Kaling’s pre-Diwali party. Priyanka’s attire has been designed by Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Sharing pictures from Lilly’s party, Priyanka wrote on Instagram, “What makes Lilly Singh the perfect host and dost? She’s a fellow PUNJABI. What an epic end to this year’s Diwali celebrations!” She further added, “Thank you Lilly for such an amazing evening!”
Her husband, Nick Jonas reacted with a heart-eye emoji.

Lilly Singh, one of the most popular content creators of recent times, has also shared some of the amazing pictures from the party. Priyanka Chopra in the picture is seen holding Lilly’s pet dog, Scarbro while Lilly wrote, “Last night was a movie. Love and light with the Desi squad. Honoured to be surrounded by such incredible people. And then get lit with them. And then wild out with them. And then have senti talks with them. And then watch them WIN. I’m going to have to make this an annual thing.”

Earlier, Priyanka Chopra along with Nick Jonas celebrated Diwali at their home in Los Angeles. Sharing pictures from the Diwali party Priyanka wrote, “Our first Diwali in our first home together. This one will always be special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this evening so special. You’re my angels.”
Further, she wrote, “To everyone who honoured our home and my culture by not only dressing the part but dancing the night away, you made me feel like I was back home. And to the best husband and partner Nick Jonas, you are what dreams are made of. I love you. My heart is so grateful and full.”
