New Delhi: At San Diego Comic-Con in the United States, the first look at Project-K was finally shown to considerable acclaim. In addition to the sneak peek, the producers also revealed that the working title of Project K has been changed to Kalki 2898AD. At a press conference headlined “This is Project K: First Glimpse of India’s Mytho-Sci-fi Epic,” actors Prabhas and Kamal Haasan unveiled the teaser. Nag Ashwin helmed and produced the multilingual science fiction film project K for Vyjayanthi Movies. On January 12, 2024, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will premiere in theatres throughout the globe in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English.

The preview for Project K hinted that the film would centre on Lord Vishnu’s tenth incarnation, Kalki, suggesting that it would tackle the intriguing topic of the future colliding with the uncharted conceptions of Hindu mythology hinted at by the title. The intriguing teaser for Kalki 2898 AD looks into a dystopian future where magic and technology have combined to create a world where darkness reigns and destruction is the norm. It depicts a futuristic planet at war, with its inhabitants seemingly dominated by evil technology and forces and subjected to brutality at the hands of their oppressors.

The preview shows Prabhas’s character as a courageous warrior who rises to the challenge of saving his planet, while Deepika’s role as a recruit in the army is seen among many other ladies. A glance into Amitabh’s persona reveals a fierce; the visual aesthetics of the universe are spellbinding, and Amitabh Bachchan is placed in a role that will aid the newer army defeat the adversary.

From what we can see in the teaser for Kalki 2898 AD, filmmaker Nag Ashwin and his crew are venturing into uncharted terrain for Indian filmmaking. With Project K, one of the costliest films India has ever produced, he is certain to give Indian moviegoers something they have never seen before.
