New Delhi: Now that the date of the Queens OTT release has been confirmed, many are eagerly waiting for the documentary series to watch online. Chloe Sarosh is the showrunner and writer, Sophie Darlington and Justine Evans are the directors of photography, and Angela Bassett narrates the popular and courageous National Geographic documentary series. For the first time, Queens presents nature from a female perspective.

Plot

With the help of award-winning actress Angela Bassett’s stirring narration, Queens is the first film to ever show nature as seen from a female perspective.

Every episode focuses on a new species, whether it’s the calm bonobos of the Congo basin or some other kind of matriarch. By following their journey through thick and thin, viewers will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of love and protection passed down through the generations. Mothers will go to secure their children’s success, the devastating effects of ambition, and the unfaltering strength of mothers in the face of adversity.

In Queens, cutting-edge tech reveals that intellectual capacity and cooperation, rather than physical might, are the keys to success for women in nature. In the last episode, we honour the women who have risked all to study and save animal queens.

When and Where to Watch?

When Disney Plus Hotstar will launch on Monday, March 4, 2024, viewers will be able to watch Queens online.

More Details

To set the scene for a series that goes beyond what people presently know about natural history broadcasting, the trailer exposed viewers to six famous realms ruled by the powerful and fearsome matriarchs of the animal kingdom. Matriarchs are featured in every episode, whether it’s the peaceful bonobos of the Congo basin, the vicious jewel bees of Costa Rica, or the formidable elephants of the Savanna.
