New Delhi: Alexandro Aldrete created this Spanish mystery series – ¿Quién lo mató? to bring attention to the murder that defined a generation in Mexico. The name translates to Who Killed Him?, which is the latest Prime Video series that discusses the death of Paco Stanley, a television host. The series will be available on the streaming service beginning May 24.
This series, which stars Luis Gerardo Méndez, Diego Boneta, and the singer Belinda, will tell the narrative of the murder of Paco Stanley, who died outside El Charco de las Ranas.

Plot
One of the most talked-about incidents of the late ’90s, the murder of TV host Paco Stanley is the subject of this series, which follows the events leading up to and after the murder.
Paco Stanley’s appearances on shows like Una after Otra (1999) and Pácatelas (1995) propelled him to the position of most beloved Mexican host and announcer of the decade.
An armed attacker killed Paco Stanley outside El Charco de las Ranas on June 7, 1999. Stanley had gone there for breakfast with his comedian friend Mario Bezares and journalist Jorge Gil.
When and Where to Watch?
Last year June, Amazon Prime Video announced a biographical series tracing the events leading up to and after Paco Stanley’s murder. In April 2024, the streaming platform shared the first trailer; it included Roberto Duarte’s Paco Stanley impression.
Paco Stanley’s ¿Quién lo mató? Or Who Killed Him?, as revealed in the first teaser, is set to debut on Amazon Prime Video on May 24, 2024. Six episodes make up this riveting true-crime series.

Cast and Crew
Roberto Duarte has been cast as Paco Stanley, the primary part. Also starring are Javier ‘El Cha’ Ramirez as Paco Stanley’s close friend Benito Castro, Luis Gerardo Méndez as Mario Bezares, Diego Boneta as journalist Jorge Gil, Belinda as Paola Durante, Mauricio Pimentel as Agente Bernardo, and a plethora of other actors and actresses.
Humberto Hinojosa and Ozcariz are the directors and showrunners, while Humberto Aldrete, Ozcariz, Rodrigo Ruiz, and Patterson are the writers. The show is produced by Giulia Cardamone and Abel Cruz.
