Rajinikanth celebrates on Jailer’s solid earnings, ₹ 500 crore mark breached

New Delhi: After a two-year break, Rajinikanth made a comeback to the big screen with Nelson Dilipkumar’s movie ‘Jailer,’ and it has been a record-breaking success. The film’s impressive box office collection of ₹500 crores worldwide is a testament to Rajinikanth’s enduring stardom.
To celebrate this remarkable achievement, Rajinikanth gathered with his team in Chennai after returning from his spiritual journey in the Himalayas. The party included director Nelson, composer Anirudh Ravichander, and actress Ramya Krishnan, along with other members from the direction and production units. Amid smiles and cheers, the superstar joyfully cut the cake with his team.

Rajiikanth’s tour

Rajinikanth recently visited various temples and holy places across the country. He offered prayers at the Badrinath temple in Uttarakhand and took time to meditate in a cave after a trek of nearly two hours.

Later, he arrived in Uttar Pradesh via Jharkhand and organized a special screening of his movie ‘Jailer’ for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During the visit, Rajinikanth faced controversy when he was seen touching Adityanath’s feet. However, he later clarified that it is his customary practice to show respect to yogis and sanyasis. He also met his friend of nine years, Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party. When asked if they discussed politics, Rajinikanth stated that they met as long-time friends.
