New Delhi: Raju Srivastava, nation’s one of the most loved comedian is undergoing treatment at the AIIMS and latest update about his health is that he is doing better than earlier and ‘less critical than a day before’.

One can take a sigh of relief about positive updates from fellow comedians and his well wishers often take to Twitter to lift the spirits but the reality is that the comedian-cum-actor is still on life support system and remains critical.

Among the latest to share update his health, his brother Deepu recorded a video message and shared it on social media platform while also appealed to people to not spread rumours.

According to news agency ANI, Deepu in a video message said that Raju is still in hospital but has the blessings of all his fans. He also said that his brother is a fighter and he will win this battle.


Raju Srivastava suffered a heart attack on August 10 and has since been on ventilator. The same day, the stand-up comedian underwent angioplasty after doctors found blockade in his arteries.

‘Less critical than earlier’: Shekhar Suman

Shekhar Suman also took to Twitter yesterday and shared that he is “out of the critical condition” that he was in yesterday.

“Raju’s latest update is that he seems out of that critical condition he was in y’day.The best doctors,neuro surgeons are attending on him and things are looking better.I feel Raju’s own will to fight and our collective prayers are being heard by the almighty. har har mahadev (sic),” the actor tweeted.

Raju Srivastava was rushed to hospital on August 10 by his fitness trainer as the former collapsed while running on a treadmill in a South Delhi gym. He was given immediate CPR and angioplasty.
