New Delhi: Rakhi Sawant’s mother passed away late on Saturday, January 28, 2023 night. The mother of the actress, Jaya Bheda, passed away from endometrial cancer in a Mumbai hospital. Rakhi conveyed the breaking news along with a wrenching hospital video.
Rakhi is seen in the video sitting on the floor as her mother snoozes on the bed. The actress announced the passing by posting the footage on her Instagram page.

Soon after posting the video, Rakhi Sawant received condolences and support from many netizens and celebs including Jackie Shroff, Pavitra Punia, Jasleen Matharu, and Rahul Vaidya.
Taking it to the comment section, Jackie Shroff said he can feel the pain of having lost his mom dad, and brother. He consoled her by saying that they are always with us. On the other hand, Pavitra Punia asked Rakhi to stay strong and take care. May aunty’s soul rest in peace. Rashami Desai and many others including Ridhima Pandit, Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanayata Dutt commented, “Om Shanti”.
Meanwhile, Ankit Tiwari consoled her and wished her to get courage and stay strong. In the meantime, Nisha Rawal wrote that seeing Aunty in this way shattered her heart because she has usually seen her smiling and elegantly dressed. The funeral of Jaya Bheda will take place today (Sunday), January 29, 2023, at Municipal Christian Cemetery, West Andheri in Oshiwara. Rakhi Sawant posted a screenshot of a message via Whatsapp that said, “I, Rakhi Sawant, am very sorry to notify you of the untimely passing of my mother. Many of you are aware that she had a number of medical issues, therefore I regret to inform you that she has passed away. Come to my mother’s funeral tomorrow at noon with us. .”
