New Delhi: Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan made a theatrical release today. The movie clashes with Aamir Khan’s much-anticipated movie Laal Singh Chaddha. Raksha Bandhan revolves around the sibling bond which also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth, and Deepika Khanna in pivotal roles.
Directed by Anand L Rai, the movie hit the silver screens following active promotions by the lead actors. Soon after its release, audiences started pouring in their reviews on social media. After two major flops this year namely – Bachchhan Panday and Samrat Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar has finally managed to strike a chord with the family entertainer.
Apart from the excellent storyline, cinematography, and background score, netizens have lauded the performance of Akshay Kumar. Some have called it the best film of his career.
