New Delhi: ‘RRR’ actor Ram Charan has earned global recognition after his film getting appreciated and won awards overseas too. In the latest interview with Letterboxd, the actor revealed the names of his two crushes from Hollywood. He picked the names of Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones when asked about his crush.
Talking about Julia Roberts, Ram Charan said that used to be attracted to her on-screen and found something ‘unconventional’ about her. He added that he has been Julia’s fan since ‘Pretty Woman’. On Catherine Zeta-Jones, the actor exclaimed, “My goodness. How can I forget her?” He said that he has followed her work in films like ‘Mark of Zorro’ and ‘Entrapment’.
He also spoke about fans referring to him as a ‘snack’ and said that his wife would be proud to hear this. A fan also commented calling Ram Charan ideal for a male specimen, to which he replied that he hopes it is a ‘good specimen’.
Ram Charan recently received appreciation from ‘Avatar’ director James Cameron, who loved the film and his character in ‘RRR’. ‘Naatu Naatu’, a song from the film went on to win at the Golden Globe Awards and is also nominated for Oscars 2023. The film has earned international recognition and Ram Charan also went to the USA for campaign and award ceremonies for the period drama.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, ‘RRR’ revolves around the story of freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles.
