Rana Daggubati “sincerely apologizes” after his bold web series Rana Naidu triggers outrage

For those who don’t know what has caused this outrage, the series is full of sex scenes, profanities, crass innuendo, and objectification of women.

New Delhi: Rana Daggubati has extended his stardom to the Hindi entertainment industry with his OTT debut Rana Naidu on Netflix. The series which features Rana Daggubati along with his uncle Venkatesh is an Indian adaptation of America’s Ray Donovan.

Although the series received positive reviews for great casting, acting, plot line, and awesome background score, the web show failed to pass the ‘family-friendly’ test. And it is important as it stars veteran actor like Venkatesh.

He also addressed the outrage and extended his sincere apologies to those who hated it.

The pioneer of fixing messes is faced with a huge challenge when his father Naga Naidu (Venkatesh) gets out of prison after 15 years.

To Rana’s dismay, Naga makes efforts to reconcile with his estranged family. When Rana shoves his efforts to mend their relationship, the unsavory father becomes his biggest rival.
