New Delhi: The teaser for Rana Daggubati’s upcoming venture ‘Rana Naidu’ was released on September 24. The web series teaser was released at Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan event. The series is an Indian adaptation of the American TV show ‘Ray Donovan’. Along with Rana, the show also stars his paternal uncle and popular Telugu star Venkatesh Daggubati.
The teaser shows Rana Daggubati in the titular role, where a voice-over can be heard saying, “I have heard a lot about your help. Whenever any celebrity is in trouble, they call you to fix things for them. Fixer for the stars.” Looking at the video clip one can anticipate an action-packed crime series. In the web series, Rana’s uncle Venkatesh will play his estranged father. The actors also shared the teaser on their social media handles. Sharing the video, Venkatesh penned an exciting caption writing, “We’re taking our family drama one step further! Get ready to see me and @ranadaggubati go head to head in Rana Naidu, coming soon on @netflix_in ? #Tudum.”

The show follows Rana Naidu, the go-to person for people in the film industry when they have a problem, similar to the plot line of ‘Ray Donovan’ following a man helping rich and influential families with their problems. ‘Rana Naidu’ is created by Karan Anshuman and also stars Zessica Harrison, Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Ashish Vidyarthi and Ashwin Mushran.
Netflix announced 120 titles from all across the globe at the Tudum event. The release date for ‘Rana Naidu’ has not been announced yet.
