Ranbir Kapoor reveals how he was first boy from Kapoor family to clear class 10 exams

As a part of the promotion, Ranbir Kapoor recently collaborated with social media influencer Dolly Singh.

New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor is ready for the release of his upcoming movie Shamshera which also features Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The film is set in the backdrop of the 1980s and will be released on July 22. The actors and makers are busy promoting the movie. As a part of the promotion, Ranbir Kapoor recently collaborated with social media influencer Dolly Singh.

Dolly Singh portrayed the character of ‘Raju Ki Mummy’ and had a one-to-one fun chat with the actor. When Ranbir was asked about his class ten board exams, the actor revealed that he had scored 53.4%. Besides, he also revealed that he was the first boy from the family to have passed class ten exams. “When my results came, my family was so happy that they kept a huge party for me. They had no expectations. I am the first boy in my family who passed his 10th exams,” he said.

Ranbir Kapoor who is sharing the screen with Vaani Kapoor for the first time shared his experience in an interview. “We really enjoyed each other’s company. I think what she’s done in ‘Shamshera’ is quite outstanding and I am looking forward to see how people find her character and her performance. She has a very important role in the film and people will have to wait to see it to understand how important her role is,” he said.

Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen in Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukherji. In the movie, he will be seen sharing the screen for the first time with his wife and actor, Alia Bhatt. The movie will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and south star Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. It is set to release on September 9. He is also shooting for Luv Ranjan’s untitled film along with Shraddha Kapoor. Besides, he has Animal with Rashmika Mandanna in the pipeline.
