New Delhi: Actor Vaishnav Tej, who made his debut with super hit action drama Uppena and later appeared in critically acclaimed Kondapolam, recently starred in Telugu romantic drama Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga opposite Ketika Sharma.
Despite the ordinary reviews by the critics and film analysts, the film did well at the box office and drew audiences for the next 2 weeks after its theatrical release on September 2.
Written and directed by Gireesaaya, who has previously worked as the assistant director in the popular movie Arjun Reddy, the film is backed by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra productions.
About the movie
Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga is a story of two teen schoolmates who develops a rivalry against each other following a minor incident and remain at loggerheads in the near future. However, things change when they cross paths as both of them get enrolled at the same medical college.
What follows is a sweet and salty ride of emotions and romance that keeps the viewers engaged till the end.
Apart from Tej and Sharma, the movie features a chunk of popular faces including Naveen Chandra, Tulasi, Naresh, Prabhu, Ali, Subbaraju, Satya, Fish Venkat, and others.
OTT Release
After the big screen, the Telugu drama is set to grace the OTT space on the occasion of Dusshera, i.e. on October 2. Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga will stream on OTT giant Netflix.
