Rani Malayalam Movie OTT Release Confirmed: Watch Urvashi and Bhavna’s murder mystery flick online on THIS digital platform

New Delhi: Shankar Ramakrishnan’s Malayalam mystery-thriller Rani: The Real Story is finally set to make its OTT debut next month. The film was released on the big screen in September 2023 where it received mixed reception from cine-goers.

Now, months after the conclusion of the Urvashi-Bhavna starrer flick’s BO journey, the filmmakers have unveiled all the details regarding its digital release date & here’s all you should know about the same.

Rani Malayalam Movie OTT Release Date

Taking to his official social media handle, Rani: The Real Story’s director Shankar Ramakrishna, on Tuesday, announced that the film would start streaming on Manorma Max from March 7 2024 onwards. He wrote, “On Manorma Max March 7th  Rani: The Real Story on Home Screens.” Along with his post, the ace director also shared multiple intriguing posters from the movie.

Rani: The Real Story Plot 

Helmed and written by Shankar Ramakrishna, Rani: The Real Story is set in the town of Dharampuram. Its story circles the life of an ordinary maid whose life takes an unexpected turn when she is accused of the mysterious murder of an influential political figure Dharmarajan.

However, the people of three families, in whose house she used to work as a maid earlier, jump in her support and leave no stone unturned to shake off the guilt & prove her innocence in front of the law and system.

Cast and production

In its stellar cast, the film sees several talented actors like Bhavana, Urwashi, Indrans, Honey Rose, and Guru Somasundaram in key roles. It is produced by Vinod Menon, Shankar Ramakrishnan, and  Jimmy Jacob while Magictail Works Productions and June Ventures have bankrolled the movie under their banners.
