New Delhi: NBA India’s brand ambassador and Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh, took part in the NBA All-Star Celebrity game. He played for Dwayne Wade’s team and beat Team Ryan in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ranveer also met Hollywood celebs and basketball stars including Ben Affleck, Chris Tucker and Giannis Ugo Antetokounmpo.
NBA India’s Instagram account shared pictures from the game as well as Ranveer meeting and greeting other celebs and his fans. In one of the pictures, the Bollywood actor could be seen sharing a deep conversation with Ben Affleck. Ranveer was seen in his white team uniform with red and blue stripes while Affleck wore a white sweater. Ben came in to promote his next film, ‘Air’, which is based on the story of Nike’s co-founder Phil Knight, who signed basketball player Michael Jordan for his shoes.

In the game, Dwayne Wade’s team beat Team Ryan with a scoreline of 81 to 78. Ranveer’s teammates included actors Simu Liu and Janelle Monae, tennis player Frances Tiafoe and comedian Hasan Minhaj.

On the work front, the actor will be next seen in Karan Johar’s directorial comeback, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ along with Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi and will release on July 28.
