Rasavathi OTT Release Date: Arjun Das’ Tamil romantic thriller movie is set to stream online on This platform

New Delhi: Rasavathi: The Alchemist, popularly called Rasavathi is Santhankumar’s latest Tamil flicker which graced the theaters back on May 10, 2024.

Loaded with the star power of skilled actors  Arjun Das and Tanya Ravichandran, the movie received a decent response from the fans who lauded it for its story & screenplay. However, despite all that, the entertainer failed to do anything remarkable at the Box Office & ended its theatrical run with lukewarm collections.

Now, over a month after the film’s premiere on the big screens, its makers have finally unveiled the date of its digital debut on the OTT platform. taking to their official social media handles, they have informed that Rasavathi will hit its streaming partner  & Aha Video on June 21st, 2024.

From the said date, the movie will become available for streaming on Aha Video, offering Tamil movie enthusiasts a chance to enjoy it comfortably while sitting at home. However, to access the film on the South Indian digital portal, a subscription to its service will be mandatory for the viewers.

Rasavathi Plot

Written by the film’s director Santhankumar himself, the story of Rasavathi circles the life of a small-time doctor Sadhasiva (Arjun Das) who has made some major mistakes in his life. In a bid to escape from the clutches of his past, he, accompanied by his wife Surya (Tanya) tries to live an intimate & peaceful life, away from the horrors of his dark past.

However, an obsessive police officer Parasu (Sujith Shankar) soon disrupts the couple’s life & starts pursuing Sadhasiva to seek revenge on him. Why does Parasu want to take revenge on Sadhasiva? What past does he share with him? And Will he succeed in his mission? The film answers all the questions.

In its cast, Rasavathi sees several actors including Tanya Ravichandran, Arjun Das, Reshma Venkatesh, Sujith Shankar, Sujatha Sivakumar, G. M. Sundar, and Ramya Subramanian in pivotal roles. Santhakumar has produced the flicker under the banner of DNA Mechanic Company & Saraswathi Cine Creations.
