On June 13th, 2024, Zee 5 officially confirmed Rautu Ka Raaz’s digital debut news with a social media post. When the warden of Sevadham school dies in mysterious circumstances, an ace cop Deepak Negi (Nawaazuddin) arrives to investigate the case in a remote Uttrakhand Village called “Rautu Ki Beli”
There, the local police tell him that people in the area die automatically as no one has been killed in the village for a decade and a half. However, refusing to believe the state authorities’ theory, Deepak takes matters into his own hands and leaves no stone unturned in unavailing the dark truth behind the murder. What happens after that and how he untangles the mystery is the remaining story of the film.

Besides Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rautu ka Raaz also features actors like Rajesh Kumar, Atul Tiwari, and Narayani Shastri in pivotal roles. Anand Surapur has directed and produced the flicker under the banner of Zee Studios and Phat Phish Records.
