Razakar OTT Release Date: Yata Satyanarayana’s directorial Telugu movie Razakar:: The Silent Genocide Of Hyderabad is all set to make its digital debut in the coming days.

Starring Bobby Simha, and Tej Sapru amongst many others in the lead roles, the historical drama, based on the Hyderabad Liberation Movement of 1948 will land on Aha Video on January 24th, 2025 onwards, offering fans a chance to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes.

Razakar OTT Release Date Announcement

Taking to its social media platform, renowned South Indian streamer Aha Video, on January 7, 2024, enthralled Telugu movie enthusiasts by announcing the official OTT release date of Razakar.

Sharing an intriguing date reveal poster of the movie on Instagram, the digital giant wrote, “Courage, history, and an untold tale. Premiering January 24th, only on Aha. Razakar Silent genocide of Hyderabad.”

Plot of the Movie

Razakar: The Silent Genocide of Hyderabad focuses on 1948’s Hyderabad Libration Movement during which, thousands of people came forward heroically to fight against the tyrannies of Razakdars, a paramilitary group that resisted the Indian Army during Operation Polo (India’s annexation of Hyderabad)

Throwing light on the brutalities committed by the Razakadars on common people, Hindus in particular, the film shows how the masses struggled to reclaim their identity and fight against the Ruthless regime of Nizam.

Cast and Production

Razakdars stars Raj Arjun, Bobby Simha, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Vedhika, Prema, Preeti Nigam, Shafi, Ravi Kale, Satyanarayana Veeramachaneni, Yata Satyanarayana, Meka Ramakrishna, Kaushik Rachaputi, and Siva Kantamneni in its main cast. Gudur Narayana Reddy has produced the film under the banner of Samarveer Creations LLP.
