4)Sandese Aate Hain

The mesmerising song was sung in the soulful voices of Sonu Nigam and Roop Kumar Rathod. The lyrics of the song were written by Javed Akhtar for JP Dutta’s film ‘Border’, which was released in 1997.

Rang De Basanti is also one of the best songs to begin this historic day. It reminds India is a diverse country but the people of the country live in unity. It was sung by Daler Mehandi.

6) Aye Watan Watan Mere Abaad Rahe Tu

Aye Watan Watan Mere Abaad Rahe Tu is from the 2018 blockbuster ‘Raazi’, starring Alia Bhatt in the title role. The song is always loved by people ever since it was released. It was penned by veteran legend poet Gulzar and sung by Arijit Sing and Sunidhi Chauhan.
