New Delhi: Ever since Aamir Khan’s ‘Intolerance’ remark, the actor has not only faced massive backlash on every other thing he does but also seems to get in trouble every time one of his movies is on the way to make it to the theatres.
Khan’s upcoming period drama ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ starring Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya apart from him in the lead, has been controversial for more than one reason.
Apart from Aamir’s political and social views on various matters, a section of viewers is also anguished with Bollywood for constantly coming up with ‘copied’ content from the South or Hollywood.
In case of Lal Singh Chaddha, the movie is a Hindi remake of the award-winning war drama ‘Forrest Gump’, a movie which has already been seen and widely appreciated by audiences around the world including in India.
As the release date of Aamir’s upcoming film is inching close, #LalSinghChaddha was witnessed trending on top on the microblogging site Twitter on Saturday, with Netizens citing reasons to skip the film, which are quite convincing.
