New Delhi: The much-anticipated teaser of the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani’ is finally out. From the trailer, it is speculated that the movie is a romantic comedy with full family drama. Meanwhile, the poster also gives glimpses of the same. The film features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chaudhary, Churni Ganguly, and Namit Das in the pivotal role. The movie is directed by Karan Johar almost after a gap of so many years.
A few days back, Karan Johar posted a picture of himself with Rani Mukherjee, praising the character’ Rani Chatterjee’ being played by Alia Bhatt in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Khani’. In the caption Karan wrote Rani are you ready for Rani Chatterjee?#RockyAur Rani Ki Prem Kahani”. Fans were wondering, whether Rani will make a special appearance in the film or what else the mystery is.
Karan Johar’s directorial venture will hit the theaters on July 28 this year. The family drama features the tussle between the two families, although the one-minute teaser doesn’t reveal much about the film. It is a huge directorial comeback of Karan Johar after ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. The teaser was launched by one of his dear friends and actor Shah Rukh Khan, on the completion of 25 years of Karan Johar as a filmmaker. Shah Rukh Khan also gave him the best wishes for his upcoming project. The teaser reveals glimpses of some shots in the studios, some in the snowy romantic backdrop. We can see some love and some turmoil between the main characters during the teaser. The supporting cast also includes amazing actors. Although, the film was originally about to release in February this year but now will be released on 28 July 2023.
